Product Description: SC-6000 is a 1 mil Electrical grade Polyimide film coated with a high-performance silicone adhesive. This product is thin and conformable with outstanding tear and abrasion resistance at elevated temperatures. Leaves minimal residue when removed after manufacturing process; reduces clean-up time and minimizes rejects. Permits observation of board during processing. Excellent resistance to acids, oils, solvents, aging, staining, and water immersion. Protects gold contacts from molten solder during hot air wave soldering leveling process.

Tape Application: To achieve ultimate bond strength please be sure materials being bonded are clean and free of dust, dirt, oil or other substances which can affect the bond of the tape adhesive. Firm application pressure will promote a strong, long lasting bond. Adhesive bond strength is dependent upon the material type being bonded.
